Meet the Rainbow Team
Leigh-Ann - I started this Business just over eight years ago, and have over 13 years experience with both with my own children's parties, This has been my dream since 2000 whilst working in a well known pub chain in the children's play area. It only became a reality following the loss of my Dad in 2011. He was such a massive part of my life, and always had faith in me. I knew I needed to continue with this in his memory, as it is what he'd of wanted. The name 'Once Upon a Rainbow' originated from the song 'Somewhere over the Rainbow' which was in fact, my Dads favourite song! My vision has always been to bring the whole package for the best experience to your party both for the parent and the child. With my wealth of customer service experience, I love making parents happy, and want to take away the pressure so that you can enjoy your special day with your child. Memories are so important so nothing is ever too much of a challenge and I pride myself on giving you the best, no matter how big or small your event is, and no matter how young or old your child is. Having three children myself, the eldest being almost twenty, I understand the pressures parents face, and love all of the elements to my job, creating a bespoke party experience!
Steve - I am co-owner, and husband to Leigh-Ann. I love doing character visits and parties. supporting my wife with her passion of bringing smiles to children faces. I am a fantastic organiser, and really enjoy the variation this provides me from my usual Monday - Friday IT job. My favourite character is Bumblebee, and its just such a privilege bringing him to life and seeing children faces! At events, I happily help with glitter tattoos, organising the staff, and help with the fun and games. I have been a support to the team since it first started in 2011. Following the death of my Father-In-Law, I knew Leigh-Ann needed to do this in his memory, and are so proud that such an amazing business came from such a difficult time.
Louise - I am a HUGE Disney fan (watching the film's repeatedly is research right?!) and absolutely love the magic the characters bring to our childhoods. I love bringing beloved characters to life and interacting with your little and not so little ones. My favorite character to portray is Anna, as being a fellow redhead she is so much fun! I love trying new face paints especially when getting some weird and wonderful request, dinosaurs are a personal favorite! I am a fully qualified swim teacher therefore I have mastered the art of organising little ones and keeping them engaged while having a great time, no matter the environment. The hours spend with each age has transferred so well to parties!
Tristan - I have a degree in performing arts which I love putting to use! Spider-Man is my personal favourite to portray! You should hear my American accent! I grew up on Spider-Man, from the cartoons, film and games. Any question your little one asks I definitely have the answer! I also love visiting as mascots and bringing any joy to the party that I can! I am currently in the British Army so I can't wait to start incorporating this into the business, I am hoping to start Boot Camps and Army themed parties. Boys are sometimes harder to choose a character for so a theme instead is ideal!
